Yellow Corn Meal - Medium

Derived from high quality Indiana grown corn produced by farmers near our Mill, this corn is milled after it is de-germinated into a Medium Grind size. While the product may have some corn flour, it is mostly granular in texture. This corn meal is used for baking products such as Muffins, or for a base upon which many bread doughs are baked to give the bread extra flavor and texture. Many pizza makers use this corn meal to bake their pizza crusts.  Across certain parts of the country, some pie bakers make pie crusts with a layer of this corn meal.
